Photos: 12 on 11/12

Quick & simple challenge to document Nov 12th. Took multiple photos that day (more during my time at home than work) and picked my fave 12 photos.

Scrapbook Layout: Stuck Again

Wow. Another scrapbook layout in one week! Absurd.
It's for the Studio Calico Sunday Sketch challenge for Nov 4th. I really used lots of scraps to make this one. Lots of Amy Tangerine Sketchbook pattern papers. I didn't have a starburst mask or a Silhouette Cameo to create a diecut... I actually used an X-acto knife to cut all those pieces.
The picture is of Arianna getting herself stuck in the toy BBQ again. She had done this only a few weeks earlier. Papa & her Uncle frantically looked for her for a good 10 minutes before they heard a noise inside this toy (which was in the living room at the time) and so had to pull off the door to get her out. Funny funny girl. LOL.

Scrapbook Layout: Baby E

Wow. Just had the urge to scrap something this morning since Tommy is out of the house, kids are fed & watching a movie. It`s for a Studio Calico Weekly Challenge re: puzzle.
It's hard not having a printer (still need to buy a new one since I killed our printer from using it so much) so I dug out some old photos of Ethan as a 2 year that never went into an album or layout. I love the Studio Calico Yearbook collection because it's so fall-like (even if the photos were taken in May 2009).
It wasn't as hard as I thought it would be to do after I had my main mat for the photos and had to hold up some pieces of scrap paper up to the window. All in all, love this!!

I plan on scrapping more tonight. I just need to stay in this Saturday. Don't want to go anywhere but just relax at home with a couple cups of coffee.

It's past Halloween & now time for the Holidays!

Ok, so Halloween was the other day and we did our trick-or-treating at the mall...again.
Ethan as Leonardo (aka Ethanardo)
Arianna as a fairy (aka Ari-Berry Fairy)

It's perfect while the kids are small. But we did start early so we could head out to our new neighbourhood to do MORE trick-or-treating. Unfortunately, the 5 min drive home put both kids to sleep at 6:50pm. And we passed sooo many homes with lights still on waiting for those little trick-or-treaters!
Now i'm looking forward to decorating our new home for the holidays! I just love all things Christmas!
