...and it's gorgeous outside!
Busy busy weekend - birthday party this afternoon and a friend flying in for E&A's baptism tomorrow. So, a huge group of us will be going out to dinner tonight. Then tomorrow, Ethan and Arianna are getting baptized followed by dinner.
I AM EXHAUSTED.
Especially since I just finished a stretch of 9 evening shifts in a row! And I have tons of laundry and cleaning to do at home. I just want to curl up in my bed and sleep. Oh, how I miss sleep...
Anyway, I was able to have a couple hours to myself LATE last night (as in 2am) so I finished two scrapbook layouts.
First up is Ethan overlooking the 360degree view of Seattle on the Fourth of July. Our very first time being in the US on this day & celebrating it with our American family.I printed up an 8x12 photo of him and kept it simple using a few bits of the Boardwalk kit at Studio Calico. I have to say, this is one of the most simpliest layouts i've done. Took me only 20 minutes to complete. I wanted to try something different. Plus, Boardwalk is my most FAVORITE kit so i'm trying to use as little as possible to save it. hehe.
Second layout I made was little Arianna at 11 months old trying to look over the glass barrier. We're in Vancouver visiting the Vancouver Aquarium with some friends. She just looks so cute trying to pull herself up higher. LOL. In the Boardwalk kit was the Pink Paislee mistable trim. I misted Mister Huey's Bonny Blue on one trim and mixed Bluegrass and Bonny Blue on a second one. They represented the pretty blue water. Next, I cut up small pieces of the trim and misted those with Calico White. Those white ones represented my clouds. I also kept this layout simple.
That's it for now. Still trying to finish up the little details on my Week in the Life album. Seriously, it's almost done. =)
